Bjorem Speech Sound Cues

Bjorem Speech Sound Cues

Our All-Star product for September is the Bjorem Speech Sound Cues from @bjoremspeech. These cards are a must-have in the speech therapy world, but they aren’t just for therapists! By giving speech sounds a memorable “name” and an adorable visual, they are the perfect way for any child to learn about and begin to play with sounds, which is key when it comes to pre-/early literacy skills.

Play Idea!

What kiddo doesn’t love a scavenger hunt? Our friend Josie likes to make things her own, so she went on a Speech Sound Hunt! With some grown-up help (e.g., Mom says, “Let’s find something that starts with the ‘p’ sound”), Josie searched for items in her house that started with a certain sound, then matched the items to their corresponding Speech Sound Cue cards. This is a simple way to keep pre-literacy practice light and fun!
