We got some bubble inspo from Emily Marie, MOT, OTR/L (@emilymarie_ot) on Instagram and made our own bubble snakes with the help of our friend Lainey. Re-use those empty water bottles, get outside and have some sudsy fun!
Materials:
- Empty Water Bottle
- Scissors
- Bowl/Container
- Soapy water (water + soap)
- Sock
Steps:
- Cut off the bottom half of the water bottle for your little one
- Wrap a sock around cut portion of bottle for your little one to work on visual motor skills
- Dip the bottom side in soapy water, and blow through the top for a self-regulation task
This activity is great for following directions, using hand muscles, and imaginary play. Plus, blowing through the bottle naturally helps to regulate little bodies.
