Bubble Snakes

Bubble Snakes

We got some bubble inspo from Emily Marie, MOT, OTR/L (@emilymarie_ot) on Instagram and made our own bubble snakes with the help of our friend Lainey. Re-use those empty water bottles, get outside and have some sudsy fun!

Materials:

  • Empty Water Bottle
  • Scissors
  • Bowl/Container
  • Soapy water (water + soap)
  • Sock

Steps:

  1. Cut off the bottom half of the water bottle for your little one
  2. Wrap a sock around cut portion of bottle for your little one to work on visual motor skills
  3. Dip the bottom side in soapy water, and blow through the top for a self-regulation task

This activity is great for following directions, using hand muscles, and imaginary play. Plus, blowing through the bottle naturally helps to regulate little bodies.
