Looking to provide your child with exposure to pre-literacy and pre-writing practice? Check out this sweet sensory bin we made with alphabet cookies and frosting!
We love getting creative with pre-writing and adding a tactile component. Practicing in shaving cream, sprinkles, play dough, rice, sand, etc., works on fine motor skills, visual motor skills, and tactile processing.
Materials:
- Ikea Flisat Table
- Rainbow Rice Sprinkles
- Frosting (Use whatever recipe works for you!)
- A Cake Platter
- Trader Joes Letter Cookies
Coco got messy and practiced matching letters and pre-writing strokes, and really enjoyed mixing the “sprinkles” and frosting together!
